Shorten Time to Degree

One of the major advantages of our program is that it helps students save time.

By earning transferable credits through the First Year Transition Academy program, students get a headstart on their degree and can graduate at the same time as their peers who began in the traditional fall quarter. This not only saves time and money, it can be a huge advantage in terms of job opportunities and future career prospects.

Course Equivalents

Students need to successfully pass a minimum of 180 units to graduate from UC Santa Cruz.

The summer and fall online courses will be taught through our University of California partner at UC Riverside Extension. See the transfer equivalents table below to understand how each course will move you closer to graduation.
