What is Zoom?
Zoom is a free web conferencing tool that is widely used in education for enabling online meetings and virtual presentations. It is an opportunity for a student to participate in a live course with an instructor via a phone or internet connection. Students meeting via zoom will log in to their Canvas class portal and click on a Zoom link to their course. You can download the Zoom plug-in and test out the technology before your class.
