Accounting

"Revel in your good fortune, top job candidates and employees. Managers across industries are sweetening accounting salaries...When they can, they’re also providing more scheduling flexibility to promote better work-life balance and make retention a priority."

— 2018 Robert Half Salary Guide (December 2017)

The field of accounting has undergone major change in recent years. Globalization brings new complexities while increased automation continues to shift the accountant's focus away from simpler tasks. For aspiring chief financial officers, the Certified Public Accountant designation remains the gold standard. Our program prepares you for that career path as well as for the Certified Management Accountant (CMA®) for mid-career financial managers and accountants. If you are considering becoming an accountant or learning to be an auditor, we offer two state-of-the-art programs to provide you the skills you need: a certificate in Accounting lays the foundation for a Certified Public Accountant designation and the Accounting core prepares CPA® candidates. Our introductory courses may qualify for credit toward an accounting degree as well as CPA continuing education units. CPA candidates can also fulfill 100 percent of their general business education requirements by taking courses from our Business and Leadership, Human Resources, Project Management and Marketing programs.

When you join our program, you start building your career network. You will enjoy learning the best practices in accounting from our instructors who share practical experience from their own successful accounting careers.
