This class meets simultaneously in a classroom and remotely via Zoom. Students are expected to attend and participate in the course, either in-person or remotely, during the days and times that are specified on the course schedule. Students attending remotely are also strongly encouraged to have their cameras on to get the most out of the remote learning experience. Students attending the class in-person are expected to bring a laptop to each class meeting.

You will be granted access in Canvas to your course site and course materials approximately 24 hours prior to the published start date of the course.
 

This class meets in real time in a classroom and via a remote learning platform via Zoom. Students may choose their preferred method of instruction-an in-person classroom setting or a remote format. Students are expected to attend and participate in the course, either in-person or remotely, during the days and time that are specified on the course schedule. Students who choose to attend remotely, will log into the course via Canvas at the start time of scheduled meetings and participate for the duration of each scheduled class meeting. Just like a traditional in-person class meeting, you are expected to attend and participate in the discussion. Students are also strongly encouraged to have their cameras on to get the most out of the remote learning experience.

Students attending the class in-person are expected to bring a laptop / tablet to each class meeting.

Required Textbook: Matching Supply with Demand, An Introduction to Operations Management, 4th edition, 2018 by Gerard Cachon and Christian Terwiesch, McGraw Hill, ISBN13: 978-1-260-31706-0.  New and used copies are readily available through Amazon, both printed and e-book versions. Both the 2nd and 3rd editions will work for this class.

Recommended Textbook: Operations and Supply Chain Management, 15th Edition, 2018, by F. Robert Jacobs and Richard B. Chase, McGraw Hill, ISBN: 978-1-259-66610-0.  Keeping the cost of the textbook in mind, editions 13 or 14 will have relevant information. Students may also be able to find it via online resources such as Amazon, AbeBooks, etc.
