SIVAKUMAR MALLARI, MS, BS, a lead data modeler at Infoblox, has more than 17 years of experience in IT, leveraging technologies aimed at defining and accomplishing strategic and tactical business objectives. Mallari, an expert in current, state-of-the-art and legacy technologies, is a leader in the data modeling space in a corporate organization. Previously he worked at Cisco as a business intelligence and analytics architect and senior data engineer, and at Selectica as a senior engineer. Mallari has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a master’s degree in Computer Applications from Bharathidasan University in India. He began teaching with us in 2022.

This class meets simultaneously in a classroom and remotely via Zoom. Students are expected to attend and participate in the course, either in-person or remotely, during the days and times that are specified on the course schedule. Students attending remotely are also strongly encouraged to have their cameras on to get the most out of the remote learning experience. Students attending the class in-person are expected to bring a laptop to each class meeting.

You will be granted access in Canvas to your course site and course materials approximately 24 hours prior to the published start date of the course.

Students will need access to a computer and the ability to install software. Open source data modeling software can be found at: https://www.mysql.com/products/workbench/
