What is Zoom?

Zoom is a flexible video-conferencing platform that can be used for virtual courses and meetings.

How do I join a Zoom meeting for my course?

To join a Zoom meeting that has been scheduled by your instructor, follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to Canvas.
  2. Select your course from the homepage.
  3. Select the Zoom tab in the left navigation in your course.
  4. Select Join next to your upcoming meeting.

Why isn’t Zoom working for me?

Verify that Zoom works on your device from the Zoom Test Page. Ensure your Zoom Desktop Client is updated to the latest version from the Zoom Download Center.

What is YuJa?

YuJa is the media management system used to view course video recordings. Recordings are imported from Zoom and published to YuJa with the approval of the instructor. These approved recordings can be viewed in YuJa but are not available for students to download.

How do I view a meeting recording for my course?

To access all course recordings that your instructor has made available, follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to Canvas.
  2. Select your course from the homepage.
  3. Select the YuJa tab in the left navigation in your course.

Why don’t I see recordings in YuJa?

Verify with your instructor if they choose to publish course recordings.
