Course Description

Welcome to our immersive Education Innovation workshop series. Join master educators to explore the most current, evidence-based best-practices to keep your knowledge and skills up to date and to strengthen your ability to support every student. Each session is led by an expert in the field with real world experience, who will guide you through the material and help you apply it immediately to your work.

For students with learning challenges, the right supports and accommodations can make the difference between flourishing in college and struggling to make it. Join a board-certified educational therapist and a college counselor to explore how to prepare your clients - first-generation students - to apply to college, transition to college, and access the supports they will need on their campuses. Through a mixture of short presentations, hands-on case studies, and small and whole group discussion, you will be given the necessary information and skills to help your students negotiate the college resources they will need to not just survive college, but thrive.
