VENKAT MAVRAM, M.S., is a technocrat with over 30 years of experience with enterprise software development that enables data-driven product decisions. He has held numerous leadership roles such as vice president of engineering and director of software development at well-known companies such as Ancestry, eBay, CallidusCloud, Intergraph, and Stanley Gibbons. Mavram has a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad, India and a master’s degree in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. His expertise includes Big Data, database, and cloud technologies in addition to full-stack web and mobile applications development. He formerly taught a Data Engineering and Big Data - Hadoop course at UCSC Extension.
