Karim N Sajwani

KARIM SAJWANI, M.P.H., CCRA, executive director and head of clinical operations at Henlius USA, Inc., has more than 25 years of experience in clinical drug development in the areas of cardiovascular, dermatology, infectious disease, oncology, ophthalmology, neuropathy, and respiratory illness. Previous jobs include working as executive director at Telios Pharma, senior director at Annexon Biosciences, director at Santen, senior clinical program manager at Gilead Sciences, clinical research manager II at AbbVie, clinical trial manager II at Genentech, and clinical research associate and clinical data manager at Astellas Pharma, where he oversaw management of all aspects of Phase I-III global clinical trials and led projects through new drug applications and supplemental NDAs/BLAs. He has a master's degree in public healthcare administration from DePaul University and a bachelor of science in biology (pre-medical) from DePaul University. He began serving as chair of the Clinical Trials Design and Management program in 2025.
