DIANA KENNEDY, MA, is a board-certified educational therapist with more than 20 years’ experience as a teacher specializing in math, reading, writing, autism spectrum disorder, and dyslexia. Through Mindspark Custom Learning Solutions she offers neurodiverse children of all ages one-on-one, personalized instruction using multi-sensory, research-based techniques in a caring and relaxed environment. Kennedy has a bachelor’s degree in Speech, Comparative Literature and Radio, Television, Film, a master’s degree in English Literature from Indiana University, Bloomington, and a master’s degree in Education from UC Berkeley. She also has a certificate in Educational Therapy from UCSC Silicon Valley Extension and a Professional Clear Multiple Subjects/ Cross-cultural Language and Academic Development (CLAD) Certificate from UC Berkeley.
Educational Therapy: Structured Literacy I
- Hybrid Live-Online Some meetings remotely, some self-paced.
Students may still enroll if they missed the 1st class session. However, they need to communicate with the instructor via Canvas and catch up on all missed work prior to the 2nd class meeting.
This is a Hybrid Live-Online class and will use a combination of live-online and online traditional methods. Live-online lectures/meetings are held via Zoom and asynchronous materials/instruction will be available on Canvas per the direction of the instructor.
