About

SANJAY AGARWAL, chief operating officer at Security 2.0, an AI cybersecurity startup, is responsible for the technical implementation and delivery of all AI projects for business and government organizations. With over 30 years of industry experience, Agarwal has developed and deployed machine learning and AI solutions at companies such as Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), Amazon, and Microsoft. He holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of New Mexico. He also earned a Database and Data Analytics Certificate from UCSC Silicon Valley Extension, which facilitated his career transition from the semiconductor industry to the AI and machine learning sector in the Bay Area. Currently, Agarwal is pursuing a doctorate in artificial intelligence from Capitol Technology University near Washington, DC.

This class meets simultaneously in a classroom and remotely via Zoom. Students are expected to attend and participate in the course, either in-person or remotely, during the days and times that are specified on the course schedule. Students attending remotely are also strongly encouraged to have their cameras on to get the most out of the remote learning experience. Students attending the class in-person are expected to bring a laptop to each class meeting.
