About

KATIE ATKINSON, M.S., human factors consultant, has more than 15 years of experience bringing regulated diagnostic and therapeutic products to market. She has worked on medical devices at every level of FDA oversight and classification, as well as pharmaceutical and biological combination products for FDA and outside US submissions. Her experience includes the full product development lifecycle from initial conception/feasibility, through ideation, iteration, validation, and post-market surveillance. She earned bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Physics from the University of Puget Sound and a master’s degree in Human Factors from San Jose State University.
