SHAHROKH SHAKOURI, M.S., is a consultant for Bay Area chip design companies. He has taught for UCSC Extension since 2008. He has 22 years of experience with high-performance and low-power IC designs in the areas of synthesis, simulation, place and route, and timing closure. Shakouri has extensive experience with tools from all major EDA companies. He has successfully taped out chips with 6.5M synthesizable gates in 65nm technology.
