Learn about the increasing industry demand for skilled project managers

Attend a free 90-minute introduction to the UCSC Extension Project and Program Management certificate program and all the classes that help you prepare you for entry in this field or to career advancement. You'll get an idea of the program's practical content through a mini seminar on the top challenges faced by project managers today. There will be a presentation covering program content, certificate requirements, the registration process, and student support services followed by an informal Q&A session to address your specific needs.

PRESENTERS:
FRANK MANGINI, M.S.E.E., M.B.A., PMP®, PMI®-ACP, CSP, has over 25 years of experience in project management and product development and served as the director of programs for the ARGOSystems/ Boeing Electronic Defense Systems. His special interests are project risk management, critical chain project management (CCPM) and Agile-Lean development projects. In addition to serving as program chair, he teaches: "Extreme/Agile Project Management," "Project Integration and Risk Management," and "Applied Project Management."

CARL RAND, M.B.A., PMP®, Extension instructor, has extensive experience in technology project management, business continuity planning, systems engineering, and process improvement. His areas of expertise include project planning and control, risk assessment and mitigation, management consultation, mentoring, training and curriculum development.
