Presenter: Anup Deshpande, SPC, PMI-ACP, CSP, CSM, IGCCA
Deshpande, senior director and portfolio management lead at Visa, has been instrumental in Agile Transformation at the enterprise level and has over 23 years of program and portfolio management experience in the software industry. He has initiated two software product startups, is chief governance officer and a board member of the PMI-San Francisco Bay Area chapter and has served on the board of the PMI-Silicon Valley chapter for five years, including a term as president and advisor to the board. He is the founder and organizer of Silicon Valley Agile Trends and Leadership, a Meetup with over 1,800 active members and teaches agile and project management at UC Berkeley Extension. Prior work experience includes senior technical program manager at Yahoo, Lyrus, and StarCite.
