Course Description:
Learn to engage prospects and turn impressions into conversions. This writing workshop covers the major forms of written communication used to market successfully in Silicon Valley: Web copy, technical brochures, data sheets, white papers, press releases, e-mails, advertising copy, catalogs, blogs and online forums, newsletters, presentations and speeches. Through case studies, lectures, group discussion and take-home projects, students will acquire state-of-the-art techniques of persuasion. Students are encouraged to bring with them actual project work for discussion or private evaluation.
