Eligibility for Discounts

Extension offers a discount of 30 percent (but not to exceed $150 for any single course) for any of the courses in this catalog. Those eligible are restricted to current UCSC faculty members and non-senate academic appointees who have worked at least 50% time for six months or more, career staff employees who have completed probation, students enrolled at the Santa Cruz main campus only, and UCSC retirees. To take advantage of this discount, you must fill out the application form found below; be sure to include your employee number. (At this time, it is not possible for UCSC faculty, staff or students to enroll through Extension's Web site.) This discount is not transferable and cannot be combined with any other special offering or discounted fee. The discount applies only to course fees and not to books or other incidental fees, unless such fees are included in the course fee. No discount will be made retroactively.
