WELCOME TO UCSC EXTENSION
We at UCSC Extension consider our instructors to be our key resource. We rely on instructors to help us fulfill our public mission by bringing the very best continuing education opportunities to our students.
In fact, as an instructor you are the primary point of contact with Extension for most students. It is your expertise in your field of knowledge, the quality and enthusiasm of your teaching, your professionalism and commitment that convey to our students the excitement of lifetime learning.
UC Santa Cruz Extension is one of the fastest-growing Extension units in the State; our rapid expansion would not be possible without a dedicated group of instructors in a wide range of fields and disciplines.
I would like to thank the many instructors who have taught for us through the years and to welcome our new instructors. Together we can bring high-quality continuing education to students who seek career advancement, new opportunities or personal enhancement. I hope that you will enjoy your experience as an Extension instructor.
Sincerely,
Cathy Sandeen, Ph. D.
Vice-Provost and Dean
