There is no admission process and you can enroll anytime.
We created a variety of flexible scheduling options to fit into your lifestyle and quickly bring you up to speed. We offer evening and weekend classes, and online courses and programs. Most certificate programs take nine months to a year, and individual courses generally take four and ten weeks to complete. We also offer customized training services for Silicon Valley businesses and corporations.
We support workforce training and international students.
The University of California reviews and approves UCSC Extension courses and programs for academic content, merit and instructor qualifications. Many of our courses may be applied toward degree programs at other institutions, or may be eligible for professional certificates and licenses. Consult the academic department or advisor at your school before planning to transfer courses to another academic institution.
UCSC Extension is accredited through the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Colleges and Universities (WASC).
