Articulation Agreements
Studying at Extension is a great next step, even if a Masters degree is your ultimate goal. UCSC Extension has credit transfer agreements for advanced study in the fields of:
Accounting, Business Administration, Project and Program Management, and Teaching English as a Second Language.

ACCOUNTING
Several UCSC Extension courses are recognized by the UCSC Economics Department and may be used to waive the designated UCSC economics courses.

M.B.A.
The Business and Management Department of UCSC Extension offers courses that may meet requirements for M.B.A. program admission. These courses give students the opportunity to fulfill some of the prerequisites necessary to begin an M.B.A. program. If you are applying to a university for an M.B.A., be sure to inquire about requirements and prerequisites.

If you're not sure an M.B.A. program is right for you, UCSC Extension's Business Administration Certificate offers a full range of courses that provide an immediate boost in business-management skills. Courses can be taken individually or used to earn the certificate.
PROJECT AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
The Business and Management Department has secured transfer agreements with University of Denver, University College and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. These agreements specifically assist students who have achieved a Project and Program Management Certificate and would like to pursue an Online Master of Science degree.
University of Denver, University College
Before entering the University of Denver, University College's Master's Degree in Technology Management program, the student must complete the UCSC Extension Project and Program Management Certificate with an overall 3.0 grade-point average. Completion of the Extension Certificate equates to 9 graduate credits towards the University of Denver's Master's Degree in Technology Management program in the following manner:
Students may transfer up to 12 credit hours toward a master's degree as long as the graduate course work and credit hours were earned within a five-year period preceding the request for transfer hours from a regionally accredited institution.
All transfer credit must carry a minimum grade of B and may not have been applied toward another degree program. The courses must be approved by the Academic Director at the University of Denver program.

UW-Platteville

TEACHING ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE
The Education Department at UCSC Extension in Silicon Valley has an articulation agreement with the University of San Francisco whereby Extension's TESOL Certificate Program will transfer directly into the USF M.A. TESOL degree.
