UCSC Extension offers personal and professional development opportunities in a variety of disciplines including: History, Communication Skills, and external continuing education courses. These courses are administered by our Education Department, which also provides advanced training and certificate programs for professional teachers.
Introduction to Educational Therapy
This course provides an opportunity for current educators, clinicians, and those interested in a career change to explore the profession and determine if the field of educational therapy is the right fit for their professional goals. The course provides motivation for those currently working in the field to take additional course work from AET's Educational Therapy Institute ETI®.
“The Making of the Western Mind" is the first of a series of courses organized over a multi-year period and available for individual enrollment. The courses provide an introduction to the problems and achievements of Western civilization. Classes are held at the Institute for the Study of Western Civilization, located at 10060 Bubb Rd. in Cupertino.
