Develop Techniques to Optimize Student Learning

The Online Teaching certificate program focuses on developing skills to maximize adult student learning. It is designed for those who recognize that online teaching and learning is the fastest growing segment of adult education and will continue to grow exponentially in the future.

Understand the Online Teaching Difference

We will teach you how to effectively work in an online environment and create meaningful instruction. You will learn how to develop instruction based on the needs of your students, manage your courses and develop appropriate assessment methods. The principles and practices of online teaching apply in both traditional and non-traditional settings, such as colleges, universities, corporations, and government institutions.

Acquire Skills and Knowledge

If you respect the importance of providing high-quality learning experiences we will help you enhance your natural abilities and combine these with the accumulated knowledge from the research and best practices in online teaching and learning. Participants will engage in activities which will ensure that you go beyond simply exporting your current instructional practices and material and develop the knowledge and skills to excel as an online instructor.
