Keep Your Hazwoper Training Current at UCSC Extension in Silicon Valley

Both OSHA and the California Code of Regulations require specialized training for professionals involved in Hazardous Materials Management. Often, this training must be completed annually. UCSC Extension offers courses that meet the stringent requirements of various state and federal agencies.

Earn Recertification Credit

ABIH Credit: A number of UCSC Extension courses qualify for ABIH certification maintenance points, which certified industrial hygienists need to maintain their certification. See individual course descriptions for CM points awarded.

CSP Credit: Many required and elective courses in the Hazardous Materials Management and Occupational Safety and Health certificate programs qualify for Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification maintenance points. For more information go to www.bcsp.org.

CHMM Recertification Credit: Most UCSC Extension courses in Environmental Safety and Management qualify for CEUs needed for recertification of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers. For more information about recertification requirements, call (301) 984-8969.
