UCSC Extension offers professional graphic design training at the introductory and intermediate levels within our Web Design curriculum. However, it is not necessary to enroll in that certificate program to take these courses.

Learn the Adobe Creative Suite Hands-on

Learn graphic design principles and fundamentals while gaining hands-on knowledge of the latest design software. Graphic design students at UCSC Extension benefit from our state-of-the-art Mac lab as they come up to speed or deepen their skils on the entire Adobe Creative Suite, including:

• Photoshop
• Illustrator
• Dreamweaver
• Flash

Alternative Pathway Into Web Design

Professional and aspiring designers with little or no experience working in interactive media may find this an attractive alternative route into the Web Design field. The courses offer working designers just-in-time skills to further their career-long professional development.
