Accounting Partnerships


The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) is a professional organization devoted exclusively to management, accounting and financial management. Their Web site includes a list of certification programs, an overview of general requirements, experience, continuing education requirements and more.

The IMA also administers programs such as the Memorial Education Fund Scholarship Program and the Certified Management Accountant/Certified in Financial Management (CMA/CFM) Certified Examinations.

Marketing


The Silicon Valley American Marketing Association (SVAMA) is the local chapter of the American Marketing Association, the world's largest nonprofit marketing association. Visit the Silicon Valley Chapter at www.svama.org.

The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Northern California Chapter was formed to educate, inform and provide networking opportunities for Direct Marketing professionals in the bay area. Visit the DMA at www.the-dma.org.


Project Management


The Project Management Institute (PMI) is the global association of project-management professionals that administers the popular PMP certification. Those individuals looking to make project management a career should consider joining PMI at www.pmi.org. Training and Development


The American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) is the local chapter of the world's largest association dedicated to workplace learning and performance professionals.
