Rape Aggression Defense (RAD)
UCSC Extension is offering a one-day basic self-defense training course for women, Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.), a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques.
This low-cost, comprehensive course begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and risk avoidance. Participants then practice the basics of hands-on defense training. R.A.D. is not a martial arts program. Courses are taught by nationally certified RAD instructors.
Each student will get a workbook reference manual that outlines the entire Physical Defense Program for reference and continuous personal growth. It is the key to our free, lifetime return-and-practice policy for R.A.D. graduates.
Tuition covers student manual, breakfast, lunch and snacks.
