2010 Design Automation Conference Tutorials Qualify for CEU Credits

Earn continuing education credit towards your professional certification while attending the DAC 2010

Attendees at the Design Automation Conference (DAC) 2010 Tutorials can earn university-level continuing education credits thanks to a partnership between UCSC Extension in Silicon Valley and DAC. The 2010 Conference will be held in Anaheim, California on Monday, June 14 and Friday, June 18.

UCSC Extension offers a VLSI Engineering Certificate program for professionals working in the integrated circuit, ASIC, semiconductor, EDA, device and system industries. Extension offers more than 20 cutting-edge VLSI courses.

All DAC Tutorial sessions are reviewed and approved by UCSC Extension in Silicon Valley for Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits. Completion of the tutorial sessions at DAC, combined with registration at UCSC Extension will earn you a Certificate of Completion.

How do you earn continuing education units?

    Attend DAC Tutorial sessions
  • First, register at the DAC Web site
  • A minimum of 5 hours of session attendance is required to earn 0.5 units of credit. Two day sessions can earn 1.0 units
  • Only conference tutorial sessions are eligible
    Enroll online at UCSC Extension in Silicon Valley
  • Visit the UCSC-DAC page for details
  • Or visit the UCSC Extension VLSI Engineering Certificate program page, click the course schedule to see DAC Tutorial course links
  • Click the course link for the tutorial session you'd like to attend
  • Proceed through the enrollment process, and pay the DAC enrollment fees
  • Upon completion, pay the fee of $25 per course to UCSC Extension for processing of your certificate
    Receive Certificate of Completion
  • After we receive your registration and attendance record from DAC, the Program Representative in the Engineering department at UCSC Extension will prepare the certificate for mailing
  • No grading will be given
