How to Obtain Course Materials
Please refer to your enrollment receipt for details about materials for your particular course. Instructors will choose either (or both) a printed course reader, or to have course materials online.
Course Readers:
Students are responsible for ordering printed course readers through our on-demand course materials service. An e-mail message will be sent six days prior to the class start date with instructions on how to order your printed course materials.
If you enroll five days or less before the course start date, you will receive your login and password by the end of the following day.
If you have not received your access information within 48 hours of enrolling, please contact our on-demand course materials service at (510) 505-1100.
Electronic Course Materials:
A soft copy of your course materials is available via our online learning management system.
You will be able to download materials one day before the first class. To download a copy of your course materials, please login to your course website: https://online.ucsc-extension.edu/xsl-portal
Go to My Sites and open your course. Click Resources and/or Lessons under Course Tools.
Course Website Access:
New Students: Within 24 hours of enrolling, a UCSC Extension online account will be issued. Login information will be sent to your email address.
Returning Students: Use your existing UCSC Extension Web site login to access your materials. New login information will not be sent to you because your account is still active. If you have lost this information, follow this link to retrieve your login and password: https://unex-password.soe.ucsc.edu/home
