Learn the skills necessary to practice as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) in this comprehensive course that covers the ethical and regulatory structure of the investment industry. Students learn quantitative techniques used in investment analysis, financial reporting and analysis, and the economic principles that impact investment value. This course uses the first half of the CFA Institute Level I material for the texts. While this is not an exam preparation class, curriculum includes Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 examination material and prepares students to work in the investment industry in an analytic capacity. Parts I & II of this course satisfy the CFP® Board’s Investment course requirement to sit for the CFP® exam.
