Our 11 CPA Preparation courses provide you with much of the accounting and general business credit you need in the areas of business law, project management, and marketing to qualify for the rigorous CPA exam. Program Requirements: You may pick from any of the 11 business and accounting courses (a total of 25 quarter units). Please refer to the CPA Exam Handbook listed on Cal CPA— https://www.dca.ca.gov/cba/applicants/exambook.pdf — for requirements.
Minimum Hours of Instruction: Varies. Up to 250 hours of instruction.
Estimated Duration: Most courses take 4–12 weeks to complete.
Modality: Courses in this series may be taught online, live-online, or in-person.
Special Programs: This program is not approved for workforce or international students.

Become a CPA
Consult with the American Institute of CPAs for specific CPA exam requirements. To become a Certified Public Accountant in California, you must complete: 36 quarter units of accounting, 36 quarter units of general business courses, and have a bachelor’s degree. The CPA Exam Handbook is an excellent resource for students wanting to know how to qualify for the exam.
Licensure and Certification
